Transforming Lives

The story of Mopiyan and Seton are testimonies that highlight the PCH mission to transform the lives of orphans and vulnerable girls from despair to lives full of aspiration. These two girls were rescued from early arranged marriages in their village to much older men. Their community does not value education for girls. These two were lucky because they found a home to protect them and give them a hopeful future. They have been enrolled in the Joram G. Memorial Academy and now are able to read and write in English. We owe this transformation to PCH donors and sponsors. These girls are now in 6th and 5th grade respectively and they aspire to bring change in the world by advocating against early marriage and female genital mutilation. It is tragic that these things still exist in our world. Mopiyan and Seton are strong young ladies who will surely be a part of creating needed change.
