Director's Message, Dr. Stephen Githumbi

When the year started, we prayed for three things: Grow closer to our Heavenly Father, for provision and for unusual favor on our children and school. Our hard working board members both in Kenya and in the US have been the avenue through which each of these prayers have been answered. Yes, there have been challenges in Kenya due to very high cost of living, a strong dollar and a much weakened Kenya Shilling, whose value reduced by 50%! That translates into high cost of cooking oil, fuel, and even clothing. God provided through the year, giving us just what we needed to survive.

The conflicts in the Middle East and Ukraine, have affected the movement of corn and sunflower. We are praying for the cessation of hostilities and a return to peace in our world, God’s world for all God’s children. A new year brings with it hope, opportunities and open doors. We thank God as we welcome 2024. With its onset, we suspect our children will continue to find PCH and Joram G. Academy a place of peace, and growth, both physically and in the inner person; a crucible for character formation. Once again thank you to all our donors who never cease surprising us with their generosity and steadfast support.
