Community Center Project

As many of you know, the June and September mission teams raised the funds to construct a community center and park area between the two homes. The building is being constructed on the existing concrete slab and work began in October 2023. For the longest time the girls have needed a place large enough that they can come together from both homes to worship, celebrate, do homework and just hang out during inclement weather days and evenings. It will also be great for all the girls to have a place large enough to have meals together and for mission teams to have the space for their projects with the girls. The park will join the two homes with the community center between them. The park area was leveled and will have a grass belt for outdoor activities. The playscape equipment purchased and constructed by the 2016 mission team will be moved to the park area.

Our contractor, Victor Camani, has done a great job. This has been an answer to prayer for us. We will soon have a place large enough for all our girls and staff to gather...HOORAY!!!. We are so excited for what this will bring to our PCH community. The work is progressing rapidly and we expect to have it completed within two months.
