Visit by Karen Community Church

The women’s ministry at the Karen Community Church conducted a girl’s fellowship at PCH. They were having a mother-daughter breakfast edition and opted to share this day with our girls. The older women came with potluck and dry foods to share with our community during the event. The meals were shared between the Karen Community Church members and the PCH staff and girls. After the meal, we had a praise and worship session before the women and girls were split into groups. The children were split according to age groups for the church women to lead mentoring sessions. We also invited our girls from college to come and participate in the experience. When the groups ended, we came back together to conclude and share in a photo session to commemorate the event. It was so great to have mothers inspire and walk with our girls in a way that is different from what the girls are used to.
