A Message from Dr. Stephen Githumbi, Kenyan Executive Director

The Corona Virus has had a far reaching global impact on all of us. Indeed, there have been many changes in the world: - changes in routines, opportunities, experiences and more. What has kept us going despite the curfews and lockdowns is how many things have remained the same or increased; hope, love, joy, peace, community, dedication and sacrifice. At PCH we are so proud of our amazing 43 girls. Not only did they quickly adapt to new ways of virtual learning, they became creators of beautiful crafts and painters of flower pots. They have also become more proficient in soccer (Kenyan Football) and are a force to be reckoned with. Our sponsors have been amazing. Their dedication to our staff made it possible for them to feed their families by the provision of half pay. Their dedication to PCH is admirable. Words cannot express how truly grateful we are. Our students remained focused on their education and their dreams to overcome many obstacles along the way. We could not be more optimistic about the future!

All of our girls are working hard daily to make their dreams come true. But none of that could have been possible without you. Your love and commitment expressed in your giving reinforced the strong community our PCH family has grown into these many years. Your generosity allows our kids to obtain much needed food, clothing, school supplies, before and after school lessons and life skills development through motivational speakers. Despite the ominous presence of COVID 19, our children have remained safe and so has the Joram G.M. Academy community.

Thank you for keeping hope, peace, love and joy alive. We look forward to 2021 of greater service to our God as we care for his little lambs. In the words of a popular song our girls love:

“I am chosen, not forsaken…I am accepted, not condemned…I am a child of God.” (Hill song)
