September Mission Team Visit

If the June mission team gifts and activities were not enough, then came the September mission team from St Mark Presbyterian Church in Newport Beach, California. Thirteen people from the church, including their Pastor Mark Davis, came in two months after the June team and it started all over again. What a summer to remember. There has been none like it before. This team led by Craig and Joann Schaum came to introduce their church friends to PCH. They organized daily craft projects and worship/praise sessions with our girls. They painted three rooms in the Ebenezer Home and treated the home staff to lunch each day and even took them out for another appreciation dinner to the La Cascina Ristorante in Karen. Two dinners out for the staff!!! One by the June team and then the second by this September team. The staff have never felt so special as this last summer. Pastor Mark Davis preached at the Sunday service for the girls and staff. It was a very uplifting and interactive service for sure. This team also raised the last bit of funds needed to complete the Community Center Project. Thank you to our friends on the September mission team. May God bless you abundantly.
