June 2021 Mission Team

There is a mission team of people from California and Ohio coming this June. They have done a lot of preparation and have raised the funds to place a laptop computer, document camera and projector in every classroom. This will be the first high tech school of its kind in our area. In preparation, this team has had to install electrical outlets in each classroom and establish WIFI across the campus. It has been a huge undertaking. A group of US teachers on this team are coming to train our staff in the use if these technologies. Everyone is excited!!!

This same team has also funded the upgrade to the Rehoboth Home. When Rehoboth was first built the outside was not completed because of a lack of funding. It had drainage issues, uneven and unsafe ground conditions and no place for the girls to gather outdoors. The work was contracted with a local company that will have it completed before the mission team arrives and dedicates it. It is very exciting to see all of these improvements and we thank this mission team for all they are doing. They will be taking the staff out for an evening staff appreciation meal and will take our girls to a water park and overnight field trip. The girls are excited in anticipation and the facility improvements is creating quite the buzz around here.
