Staying connected with family and relatives is very important for a child’s social-emotional development. That is why our Social Worker, Moureen Cheruiyot, continues to research and attempt to locate our girl’s relatives, which is a very difficult task. When family relatives are located, Moureen creates opportunities for them to stay connected and accompanies the girls to home visits. We thank God for giving us the resource of a Social Worker to do this type of work because we have seen many positive changes that come from it. Observing the outward emotions that come from these visits would melt your heart. This is one of many ways that your financial contributions are used to support our girl’s social-emotional wellbeing.
