Director's Message, Dr. Stephen Githumbi

To our esteemed donors, friends and partners, we must begin by thanking each and every one of you for standing with Providence Children’s Home so faithfully throughout 2022. We rejoice and are frequently astounded by your generosity! Your love and compassion for our girls keeps us going.

Covid 19 was a scourge of great magnitude. Hannah and I were infected and quarantined for weeks. The good Lord healed us. But we know very close friends who lost their lives. Despite its raging infection not a single one of PCH children were infected. God has a way of saying “I am in charge”. No single country was spared from this epidemic. During these hard times you stood with our staff and their families, something our staff will never forget.

Now that we are in a new year, we are looking forward with confidence that together with you, our children will not lack food or basic necessities. We are assured you will continue loving the kids and giving so that their lives may count for something. What a privilege to see lives transformed right before our eyes. May our Lord bless you and your loved ones.
